Urban commuting is quickly evolving as citizens seek out faster, more efficient ways to get around on their own terms, which is exactly what’s at work with the conceptual ‘Beam’ scooter.
Designed by Bhavya Upadhyay and Devam Jangra, the scooter is characterized by its shapeshifting construction that will transition according to the needs of the rider. The scooter can thus be used when standing as a kick scooter, while a flip-up seat will offer riders a way to take a load off on longer journeys. The scooter is equipped with a series of bright LED accents in the front and rear to maximize visibility.
The conceptual ‘Beam’ scooter prioritizes a connected riding experience by enabling the rider to mount their smartphone on the handlebars.
