Boston College wide receiver had a message for Kansas City Chiefs GM Brett Veach on Wednesday morning during his appearance on NFL Network.
Speaking to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, he was asked if he wanted to give Veach a message.
“Hey, just get up there,” Flowers said.
The Chiefs pick No. 31, the final pick in the first round. Flowers likely is going in the first round, and if the Chiefs want him, sitting at the bottom of Round 1 is a big gamble.
Flowers is a top-three receiver in this year’s draft on most draft boards. He is in Kansas City attending this year’s draft.
The senior wide-out said he likes Patrick Mahomes when asked which quarterback he thinks about catching passes from in the NFL. He recently worked out with Mahomes, and he was asked about that experience as well.
“It was crazy,” Flowers said. “As soon as you break your route, the ball (is) in your face. I feel like it’s way easier to catch the ball and run with him because you know where the ball is going to be.”
