Tom Brady is retiring, and this time he means it.
On Wednesday, the 45-year-old legend posted a video letting everyone know that his time in the NFL has come to an end. This comes just a day after it was reported that Brady was leaning toward playing in 2023, with rampant speculation connecting him to the San Francisco 49ers. Instead, Brady walks away from the NFL as the G.O.A.T. QB and quite possibly the G.O.A.T. athlete, regardless of sport. Of course, Brady will stay in the public eye, as he signed a lucrative TV deal with Fox, where he will be the network’s lead NFL analyst. Otherwise, it’s the end of an era in the NFL, one that lasted 23 remarkable seasons, the likes of which NFL fans may never see again in their lifetimes.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Some NFL quarterbacks leave tremendous legacies behind when they retire, depart in free agency or are traded, get injured, or otherwise leave a team. No NFL legacy is more significant than Brady’s. Suffice it to say, the QB who steps in for Brady will have his work cut out for him.
