We already know that things aren’t great over in LIV Golf land, with TV ratings being insanely bad and the ongoing feud with the PGA Tour still very much at play. But it looks like that negative juju is spilling over into the sportsbooks, where oddsmakers don’t appear to be so keen on any LIV Golfers winning the Masters next month.
Cameron Smith was the LIV Golf member with the shortest odds to win the 2023 Masters in December, being listed at that time at 12-1. Smith is still the LIV favorite three months later, although DraftKings now has him listed at 16-1. Things are even worse for Brooks Koepka, who was listed as a 25-1 long shot in December and is now listed at 35-1 at DK and a 40-1 long shot at BetMGM.
And then there’s Phil Mickelson, whose meteoric fall is now coupled with worsening Masters odds, as DK has gone from listing the three-time Masters champ at 130-1 to 180-1 in more recent Masters odds.
