On Jan. 8, the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Miami Heat by a score of 102-101. At the time, it was their 18th win in their last 20 games, moving their record to 27-13. Kyrie Irving led the team with 29 points. Kevin Durant chipped in 17 but also sprained his MCL. That would be his last game as a member of the Nets. One month later, Kyrie has a new running mate, while KD is now part of a super-team in Phoenix. And the Nets front office and fans alike are wondering what on Earth just happened with a squad that will, no doubt, go down as one of the greatest ‘What ifs…” in the history of the Association.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. The Suns already have one superstar scorer in Devin Booker, and now add one of the greatest scorers the league has ever seen.
