Is the Mac Jones era in New England coming to an abrupt end?
Throughout the offseason, there have been faint whispers of the Patriots possibly offering the 24-year-old QB to other teams in trades. Over the last few days, those rumors seem to be gaining steam. First, Bill Belichick would not commit to Jones being the team’s starting QB in 2023. Then reports came out that Belichick was none-too-pleased with Jones seeking help outside the organization last season, leading to Jones being shopped around the league. As with anything Pats-related, it’s difficult to discern where the truth actually lies, but with the locker room already reportedly split between Jones and backup Bailey Zappe, it would not be surprising to see the former Alabama QB in a new uniform come September.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day.
