The first major QB domino of the NFL offseason has fallen.
On Monday, it was reported that Derek Carr had come to an agreement with the New Orleans Saints to be their starting QB for the next four seasons. Carr had been connected with New Orleans earlier this winter, so the move is not a total surprise, but given that just 24 hours prior there were indications that Carr was leaning toward the New York Jets, the signing will undoubtedly have reverberating effects across the league. New York will seemingly turn its attention toward Aaron Rodgers, while the Saints can now focus on rebuilding their roster beyond the QB position.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Carr is leaving Las Vegas with just about every franchise passing record, including most yards in a season, which he set during the 2021 campaign.
