Thanks to a last-second miracle shot from Derrick White, the Boston Celtics are one win away from history.
Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat got out to a commanding 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. But White’s historical tip-in tied things up, and now the series is back in Boston for Game 7. Looking ahead to that matchup, Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra’s comments were equal parts confident and cautious. “I don’t know how we’re gonna get this done, but we’re gonna go up there and get it done.” Butler’s quote was less ambiguous. “I’m not gonna let anybody quit. I’m not gonna let our guys quit. I don’t give a damn what happens. We gonna go in there, and we gonna win.” Game 7 tips off at 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
