As LeBron James approaches the NBA’s all-time scoring record, let’s not forget that he’s also one of the best passers the league has ever seen. Tuesday night, LeBron and the Lakers were taking on the Knicks in Madison Square Garden when he hit teammate Troy Brown Jr. for a corner three and, in the process, passed two-time MVP Steve Nash on the career assists list. James now sits fourth all time there. LeBron recently came out and said that he will keep on playing for at least “a few more years,” but he would probably have to play until he is 50 to break the all-time assists mark. Sure, with LeBron nothing is seemingly impossible, but suffice it to say, the King would probably admit that this is one achievement that is simply not realistically within his reach.
