Despite all the investment and effort, Apple has now decided to cancel its autonomous electric car project.
The Apple car project has been canceled and the company has shifted its focus to artificial intelligence, according to Bloomberg.
For the past ten years, Apple has been secretly working on the Apple Car, putting a lot of money and manpower into it.
The company initially aimed to make an electric car known internally as “Project Titan,” but later shifted focus to developing advanced technology for such vehicles.
Apple’s COO Jeff Williams and Titan VP Kevin Lynch broke the news to the team in a brief 12-minute meeting on Tuesday. They didn’t entertain questions. Though the announcement felt sudden, the employee mentioned it wasn’t unexpected due to the ever-changing priorities at Apple.
