Aaron Rodgers is going to be the quarterback for the New York Jets in 2023…probably.
After stringing along the NFL and its fans for the past few months, the four-time MVP revealed publicly for the first time his plans for next season. “The GMs have been talking. I’m sure about that at this point. You know, like I said, it’s my intention to play for the Jets. But I’m still under contract with the Packers.” Of course, the Green Bay front office has been pretty open and adamant about its desire to move on as well. At this point, it would seem as if the only discussion left is the one centered around trade compensation. Assuming that is a formality, expect Rodgers to take his talents (and some friends) to the Meadowlands next season.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Throughout NFL history, 35 QBs have thrown 50 or more touchdowns after reaching their 35th birthdays, including Rodgers, who has 162 passes in that time frame. So with that in mind, how many of the 35 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
