Charlotte-based Sycamore Brewing has launched a reimagined version of ‘Sticky Crystals,’ with this delightfully hazy IPA now benefiting from the inclusion of American Sabro hops as well as pungent varieties from New Zealand to give it an unabashedly hop-heavy profile.
However, what’s great about ‘Sticky Crystals’ is that this isn’t merely an exercise in heavy-handed hops, but is in fact a beer that borrows from the tropical, juicy and floral to provide a complex and satisfying drinking experience. In fact, this particular hazy IPA promises clear tangerine, grapefruit and mango notes upfront followed by delicate floral notes that are interspersed with the character of peaches and apricot, with subtle hints of coconut and mint rounding out the taste.
Coming in at just over 7% ABV, this hazy IPA promises a punchy and memorable drinking experience.
