STACK Infrastructure has recently secured $4 billion in green financing to support the development of a more than 1 gigawatt campus in Stafford, VA, alongside additional campuses in Portland, OR, and Toronto, CA. Since 2019, the Denver-based company has raised $9 billion for its Virginia projects. On a broader scale, it has amassed $20 billion in debt capital to fuel the growth of its global portfolio.

The Stafford campus is expected to generate more than $80 million in annual tax revenue, create “hundreds of high-quality jobs”, and support over 1,000 skilled trade positions at peak construction, according to the company.

“STACK’s footprint in Virginia reflects our ability to support our clients’ growth in the most integral data center market in the world,” said Matt VanderZanden, President, STACK Americas.

In August 2024, the company announced it secured $3 billion of green financing for four U.S. projects, which followed the announcements of $3.3 billion and $1.3 billion financing rounds.
