The Aqara G4 video doorbell is the brand’s latest device for the smart home market that’s ready to provide users with access to impressive security capabilities and more. The doorbell captures footage in FHD (1080p) resolution and features a 162-degree wide-angle field of view to provide a more holistic viewpoint of the entryway. The device features motion detection and facial recognition technologies to provide notifications to the administrators as soon as something or someone is detected.
The Aqara G4 video doorbell features support for a wide range of smart home platforms including Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit and IFTTT. The doorbell is also expected to get future support for the Matter protocol in an over-the-air update. Priced at $120, the doorbell can store videos locally on microSD cards up to 512GB in size and in the cloud with a free seven-day backup.
