The tech startup is considered one of the first Qatari startups to raise a Series B round, after closing its Series A in 2021 at $5 million. The app offers a range of services including food delivery, grocery delivery, and courier services. It also offers a range of other services such as laundry and dry cleaning, pet care, and beauty services.
The funding will be used to continue building the super app and expanding its services. Snoonu aims to become the go-to app for all services in Qatar and the wider region. The company plans to expand its operations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The funding round is significant as it shows that there is growing interest in startups in the MENA region. It also highlights the potential for super apps in the region.
