📍 Washington, D.C. — President Donald Trump is set to host a high-profile dinner for leading technology executives at the newly renovated White House Rose Garden on Thursday, following a separate meeting on artificial intelligence chaired by First Lady Melania Trump.

The event will bring together top figures from the tech industry, including Apple CEO Tim Cook, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and Google executives Sundar Pichai and Sergey Brin. The gathering aims to spotlight advancements in AI and foster dialogue on innovation and education policy.

Notably absent from the guest list is Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, once a close ally of Trump. The exclusion follows a public falling-out earlier this year, reportedly linked to political disagreements and the revocation of Musk’s nomination to lead NASA.

The Rose Garden, recently redesigned to resemble the outdoor layout of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, will serve as the venue for what White House officials have dubbed “the hottest place to be in Washington.” The dinner is expected to complement the First Lady’s AI Education Task Force meeting, which focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into American classrooms.

The event underscores the administration’s efforts to engage Silicon Valley leaders while navigating shifting alliances within the tech sector.
