The brownies come in full and half-sheet options, and are suitable for being served on their own or as part of a customized recipe. The brownies are pre-baked and come uncut to help operators personalize serving sizes or different recipe options. The product is being touted as the perfect option for catering, cafeterias, restaurants and coffee shops. Created using a proprietary process, the brownies are being launched alongside a range of resources fro General Mills Foodservice to help operators easily integrate them into their menus.
Chef Stassart spoke on the Pillsbury Thaw & Serve Brownie Sheets saying, “We know desserts can be a challenge for operations that are understaffed or don’t have pastry chefs so our team is always looking for ways to help them serve scratch-like or semi-scratch desserts with ease.
