Adam Miklosi turns his attention to his pack of lozenges and how his phone charger cable seemingly wrapped itself around the package, inspiring the co. cable organizer. It fell through the cracks almost intentionally, wrapping around the cylindrical grid of the pack. From this, the industrial designer then works with Cray and Shapr3D to start drawing structures that could then become 3D models of the concept.
These 3D models were then used to create a range of premium FDM molds that could be produced more accurately. He notes that “While designing the co. I checked various use cases and decided to make three different types of cable holders: mini (2×2), medium (3×3), and large (2×5). The ability to bend cords and cables around the cylinders is what keeps the typically loose peripherals hold steady, and you can even place two cables on top of each other in the same row. The cable holders are designed to stick to the surface using micro-suction tape.”
