Footwear giants Salomon and Wood Wood have teamed up for a new and exciting footwear release. The partnership delivers the XT-SLATE model which has been described as “a collaborative celebration of mountaineering heritage through the lens of outdoors-infused culture.”
The sneaker has a muted color palette that allows it to seamlessly fuse with outdoor surroundings while nodding to the aesthetic of “vintage mountaineering imagery.” The upper sports an interesting texture that is designed to evoke mountainous landscapes, as well.
The Salomon and Wood Wood sneaker is also high-performance, sporting Salomon’s Advanced Chassis™ System. This technology allows for the footwear to quickly adapt to uneven and changing surfaces while offering optimal comfort to the wearer. The Contagrip® outsole also provides important support and security during unpredictable weather.
