Minisforum is a mini PC maker that has launched two new models with Intel’s Alder Lake-N chips, new processors for low-cost, low-power computers. The two computers are the ‘UN100’ and the ‘UN305.’ The UN100 model has a quad-core Intel Processor N100 that runs at 3.4 GHz and has a 6-watt power consumption. It also has an Intel UHD GPU that runs at 750 MHz and has 24 execution units.
The UN305 model has an octa-core Intel Core i3-N305 processor that runs at 3.8 GHz and has a 15-watt power consumption. It also has an Intel UHD GPU that runs at 1.25 GHz and has 32 execution units. Both models have the same metal case, ports, and storage options. They can support up to three displays and come with Windows 11 Pro software. The UN100 costs $199 for 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage, while the UN305 costs $279 for the same configuration; for an extra $30 to $40, users can upgrade to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.
