Los Angeles-based eyewear label AKILA recently unveiled its latest NBA-themed sunglasses collection, inspired by several teams from the organization. The new sunglasses range is made in partnership with six teams from the NBA: the Boston Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Chicago Bulls, the Golden State Warriors, the Miami Heat, and the New York Knicks.
The sunglasses collection arrives in AKILA’s Jubilee frame with the lenses highlighting each NBA team’s colors and logos on the side. Additionally, the inner side of each temple contains the NBA team’s branding. A standout item in the sunglasses collection is the Los Angeles Lakers style, with a black frame and lenses that feature a purple and yellow ombre effect. In addition, there are custom-designed carrying cases designated to each team with an accompanying lens cloth.
