The Reflection House is a slick and contemporary home, located in Bangkok, Thailand. The structure was designed and built by AUN Design Studio for a son who “wanted to come home and return to his childhood neighborhood” and his elderly mother. Multi-generational homes such as these have been popular in some countries as individuals recognize the value of being close to their families.
AUN Design Studio’s beautiful Reflection House has two separate entrances, guaranteeing a sense of privacy and independence for both mother and son. The architects used narrow shapes and concrete to achieve “a modern, uniform look.” The living space is balanced and separated into two spaces—the downstairs is the quarters of the mother while the upstairs is her son’s.
