On 03/07/2025 Minister of State for Migration, Colm Brophy, launched the 2025 Integration Fund, making €3.5 million available to support the integration and inclusion of migrants across Ireland. The fund consolidates two previous programmes—the International Protection Integration Fund (IPIF) and the Communities Integration Fund (CIF)—into a single, streamlined funding call.

The fund is now open to applications from non-governmental and community-based organisations working nationally, regionally, and locally to support people from migrant backgrounds. A particular focus will be placed on projects aimed at individuals seeking international protection.

Minister’s Statement

Speaking at the launch, Minister Brophy said:

“I am delighted to announce the 2025 Integration Fund. Migration enriches Irish society—economically, culturally and socially. Community organisations across the country are at the forefront of making integration a success, and this fund is designed to support and strengthen their vital work.”

Funding Streams

The 2025 Integration Fund offers two distinct funding schemes:

  • Scheme A: Grants ranging from €10,000 to €100,000 for projects supporting people applying for international protection.
  • Scheme B: Grants ranging from €1,000 to €10,000 for local initiatives promoting integration among all migrant communities.

Applications must be submitted electronically by 12:00 noon, Thursday 31 July 2025.
