While it’s the third Creed film he’s starred in, Creed III marks Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut, and he’s made sure to acknowledge how his love for anime informed a lot of his directing choices, from camera angles to character dynamics.
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Ali Plumb asked Michael to recommend his go-to anime (especially for anyone who’s never watched anime before), and he quickly listed five shows.
“That’s a pretty good starting five,” Michael said — and most would agree, considering he arguably listed five of the top anime of all time.
