The LATAM group now has free and exclusive Disney+ content on its LATAM Play inflight entertainment service. The agreement secures the streaming platform’s content across LATAM’s extensive operational network that spans over 300 aircraft, servicing 147 destinations in 25 countries.
LATAM becomes the first group of airlines in South America to have Disney+ content in its onboard service.
“We remain focused on making each flight an unforgettable experience for the customers,” said Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers, LATAM Airlines Group. “Now Disney+ joins LATAM Play, with a robust alliance and bringing exclusive, varied, and high-quality content to everyone, for free, making flights even more magical.”
With this agreement, the LATAM group is the first airline group in South America to have content from three streaming platforms onboard: Disney+, HBO Max and Paramount+. In total, the LATAM group offers more than 170 movies, more than 550 episodes across series, 1,000 songs and children’s and reading content that its customers can enjoy during their trips. Also for this year, the LATAM group aims to increase its content offering by over 50%.
