So, when she shared videos and photos of her baby shower — I was blown away by the theme.
Over the weekend, the expecting 👑 Millennial Diva 👑 and her partner, Darius Jackson, hosted a lavish, “Once Upon a Baby” themed baby shower to celebrate the little prince’s arrival.
The party centered around this precious fairytale storybook about Keke, Darius, and their future baby boy. The book read, “A long time ago, in a land not so far away, the King and Queen got together to play. The play turned to love as many sunsets passed by, now there’s a prince who’s soon to arrive!”
The happy King Darius and Queen Keke really had the time of their lives.
All the guests had to enter the baby shower through this magical forest.
Every detail was straight out of a storybook, including these adorable shower game scorecards with Darius’s Magic Mirror face.
Of course, the spread and decor were fit for an entire kingdom of magical melanin. The menu included Toy Story-theme treats, including Slinky’s “Dogs in a Blanket,” Mrs. Potato Head’s “Tater-Tot Cups,” and Buzz Lightyear’s Pizza Planet “Three Cheese Pizza.”
There was a whole cotton candy machine, y’all!
And cute little storybooks with plenty of cameras for guests to snap pictures throughout the night.
Keke was feeling herself, and rightfully so, because she looked phenomenal.
And there were plenty of people in attendance, like R&B singer DaniLeigh!
It looks like everybody from the fam-bam to the friends were invited.
DaniLeigh captured this iconic moment of Mama Keeks getting down. Was there any doubt that Keke and baby would be the ultimate life of the party?
Some guests were chilling in the cut and making body scrubs.
I can’t get over this scenic projection of the sun-lit African sky from The Lion King.
And finally, it appeared at the end of the night, all the guests received these cute “Once Upon a Baby” happy meal boxes as party favors.
