The Krispy Kreme Japan Kita Kitsune doughnut is a limited-edition offering from the brand that shows off a charming appearance and a delicious flavor for consumers in Hokkaido to enjoy. The donut is inspired by the ezo red fox that’s native to the Hokkaido prefecture and starts off with a premium dough covered in a purim-flavored chocolate. The treat is filled with a custard cream made with milk sourced right from Hokkaido, while the ears are made with sesame cheese crackers, the nose with coffee-flavored chocolate, the eyes with bitter chocolate and the fur with white chocolate.
The Krispy Kreme Japan Kita Kitsune doughnut is only at three locations where patrons can pick one up starting April 26, 2023 but only through August.
