The Dublin Ink Irish Whiskey has been added to the Terlato Wine Group’s Artisan Spirits Portfolio as a premium spirit perfect for drinkers to try out. The spirit is inspired by the warpaint and ink used by Irish warriors before heading into battle with Celtic Kings as their leader, and is a 50% single malt creation that’s distilled at 90 proof. The spirit is then finished in Sherry casks in Southern Ireland at a distillery to impart subtle notes of flavor to every drop.
The Dublin Ink Irish Whiskey is being launched exclusively in New York, Chicago and select locations in Southern California, and is reported to have sweet caramel and spice notes. Sweet and soft on the palate, the spirit has notes of vanilla and a touch of nuttiness.
