Greenbelt Capital Partners, a private equity firm specializing in energy and infrastructure transformation, has announced the final close of its debut fund, Greenbelt Capital Partners III L.P., at $1 billion, reaching its hard cap and surpassing its original $750 million target.
The fund attracted commitments from a broad base of global institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and foundations across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Greenbelt Capital is led by Chris Manning, CEO and Managing Partner, and Glenn Jacobson, Managing Partner. The duo, who have worked together for more than 20 years, have collectively deployed over $6 billion in equity capital throughout their careers.
Strategic Investment Focus
Greenbelt’s investment strategy targets businesses positioned at the intersection of:

- Digital infrastructure

- Energy efficiency
