The Grand Seiko Evolution 9 ‘Lake Suwa’ timepiece has been shown off as a new style crafted with fashion and functionality in mind to position it as a must-have for collectors alike. The timepiece is powered by a Caliber 9RA2 Spring Drive 5 Days movement that is held within the 40mm stainless steel case that’s rated to offer 100-meters of water resistance. The dazzling dial puts a deep blue color in the spotlight with ripples that will catch the light in different directions, which calls to mind the namesake Lake Suwa in Japan it’s inspired by.
The Grand Seiko Evolution 9 ‘Lake Suwa’ timepiece is available now for preorder via the brand’s website and is priced at $9,100. The timepiece sets itself apart by not being a limited release to increase the ability for fans to get their hands on one.
