The market is filled with a variety of gaming smartphones built with the needs of mobile titles in mind, but the Nintendo Switch Phone concept takes things in a decidedly different direction. Conceptualized by Ivan Llaneza, the mobile device follows on the design aesthetic of the original Nintendo Switch gaming console with a rectangular construction, accented by blue and red buttons. The top and bottom of the smartphone allows Joy-Con-style controllers to be added onto the device to further enhance the gaming experience.
The Nintendo Switch Phone concept is equipped with a 7.1-inch OLED display that comes in the form of an LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Featuring an IP68 rating, the smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor for handling a range of game titles, while the 7,000mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging maximizes gameplay.
