The Wegmans virtual hiring event is being run by the brand on January 18, 2023 in a bid to help the company fill hundreds of positions for its upcoming store locations in Virginia, New York City and beyond. The event offers job seekers the ability to apply for hourly entry-level management positions inlacing shift leaders, supervisors, and department managers. Applicants who aren’t eligible for the position(s) they apply for might be considered for customer service opportunities with a potential to be promoted into leadership roles in the future.
SVP of Human Resources Kevin Stickles spoke on the Wegmans virtual hiring event saying, “We pride ourselves on providing a fun, family atmosphere and we’re seeking people with a passion for food and serving others. We plan to fill these positions immediately, and we will continue to host interviews as long as needed after the event.”
