The funeral of the Duchess of Kent will take place today at 14:00 BST at Westminster Cathedral. Ahead of the service, her coffin will lie in the private chapel at Kensington Palace.
Members of the Royal Family, including the King and Queen, as well as the Duke of Kent and his family, are expected to attend. The ceremony will be broadcast live, offering the public an opportunity to pay their respects.
Following the service, the Duchess’s coffin will be transported to the Royal Burial Ground at Frogmore in Windsor. In tribute, Union Flags at all royal residences will be flown at half-mast throughout the day.
