Making eye contact when on a video call or livestreaming can be a difficult task, so the Eye Contact feature has been added to NVIDIA Broadcast 1.4 as a way to support a more authentic experience for users.
The feature can be turned on and will automatically keep the user’s eyes facing the camera to give the appearance of eye contact when the user isn’t doing so. This is great for when users are reading comments in the chat, checking a script and more to keep the audience engaged.
The Eye Contact feature is being launched, but isn’t completely ready given the wide range of scenarios that could arise within studios and offices everywhere. The feature requires the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 video card and 8GB of RAM, and is recommended for use with at least an Intel Core i5-8600 or Ryzen 5 2600 processor.
