The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published Revision from April 2024 of the Easy Access Rules for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Regulations (EU) 2019/947 and 2019/945). This Revision incorporates Amendment 13 of Issue 1 of the Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material to Regulation (EU) 2019/947 (AMC & GM to Part-UAS), which was introduced by ED Decision 2023/012/R.
Decision 2023/012/R, which was published on 20 October 2023, amended the AMC & GM to Part-UAS, aiming to maintain a high level of safety for the operation of UAS in the ‘open’ and ‘specific’ categories, improve the level of harmonisation in the Regulation’s implementation, and foster a level playing field.
