Yuga Labs, the web3 leader behind Bored Ape Yacht Club and other NFT projects, collaborates with PUMA to release a custom shoe collection based on PUMA’s iconic Slipstream sneaker. Starting April 27, members of the 10KTF and PUMA Nitro Collection NFT communities can acquire a physical customized sneaker linked to its NFT counterpart through the blockchain.
The limited release includes 2,000 pairs of custom-designed Slipstream sneakers, marking one of the largest one-to-one shoe collections. This collaboration aims to pioneer a new apparel pipeline driven by direct engagement instead of mass production.
10KTF is a digital platform that allows holders of top NFT collections to mint and collect unique NFTs featuring their avatars on various digital wearables. PUMA’s involvement in the web3 space aims to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds, reimagining the traditional sneaker release format.
