New York, 30 September 2025 — Artificial intelligence cloud provider CoreWeave has signed a landmark US$14.2 billion agreement with Meta Platforms, cementing its position as one of the most influential players in the rapidly expanding AI infrastructure market.
Under the deal, CoreWeave will supply Meta with large-scale computing power through its data centres, which are equipped with Nvidia’s latest GB300 systems. The agreement runs until 2031, with an option for Meta to extend its commitment through 2032, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The partnership underscores Meta’s escalating investment in AI, with the company expected to spend up to US$72 billion this year on data centres and talent to accelerate the development of advanced AI models and consumer applications.
For CoreWeave, the deal follows a string of high-value contracts, including a recent US$6.5 billion expansion with OpenAI, bringing that partnership’s total to US$22.4 billion. Shares of CoreWeave surged more than 12% on the announcement, reflecting investor confidence in its role as a critical supplier of AI computing capacity.
Analysts note that the agreement highlights the growing interdependence between major technology firms and specialised infrastructure providers, as demand for high-performance computing continues to outpace supply.
