Spar is launching five new confectionery lines in the UK starting January 9, including ‘Giant Strawberries,’ ‘Yummy Bears,’ and ‘Sour Gummy Mix.’ Spar is also launching Tilly the Turtle, a package of fruit jellies in the shape of small turtles, and the ‘Sour Flames.’ All five treats come decorated with packaging inspired by traditional candy shop patterns. ‘Giant Strawberries’ are also vegan and vegetarian for consumers with non-meat diets. These additions bring Spar’s portfolio up to thirty-six distinct lines in its label confectionery.
“These five new products allow Spar to modernise and add a point of difference to the current own label range. We will be filling gaps within our confectionery range by offering new and exciting flavours; this will give our Spar stores a fantastic opportunity to earn additional sales,” said Hannah Such, Spar UK’s assistant brand manager.
