Borealis Fat Bikes, a manual and electric bike retailer, announced a new e-bike model titled the ‘Borealis Keystone.’ The Keystone is the first class-1 electric bike from the brand, and as such it is an affordable and powerful fat-tire bike designed to accelerate the adoption of e-bikes in North America. At first glance the Keystone has a relatively simple design. Its electric components are stored in the thick central tube, while the rest of the bike is minimalist and durable.
The actual features of the bike, though, are plentiful. The bike boasts Borealis-branded carbon handlebars with Ergon Grips, a WTB Volt saddle, and a KS Lev Integra dropper post. Essentially, the bike is exceptionally customizable, comfortable, and suited for off-road conditions. In terms of the electric components, the battery and drive unit are manufactured by Shimano, adding further credibility to the quality of the Keystone.
