During his stand-up, he called Meghan out for her racism claims against the royal family — and basically said she should have known better.
Chris accused everyone involved of “trying to be a victim,” adding that he didn’t really believe Meghan when she told Oprah she “had no idea how racist they were.”
“It’s the royal family! You didn’t google these motherfuckers? What the fuck is she talking about, she didn’t know?” Chris said. “It’s the royal family! They’re the original racists!”
Chris went on to say that he thinks that some of it boils down to “just some in-law shit.”
“Because she’s complaining, I’m like, ‘What the fuck is she talking about?’ ‘They’re so racist, they wanted to know how brown the baby was going to be,'” Chris said.
He continued, “I’m like, ‘That’s not racist, ’cause even Black people want to know how brown the baby gonna be. Shit. We check behind them ears.”
He added, “Like, didn’t she hit the light-skinned lottery? And she’s still going off complaining?”
Chris admitted that he did understand Meghan’s “dilemma” as a “Black girl trying to be accepted by her white in-laws,” but added that it wasn’t “as hard as a white girl trying to be accepted by her Black in-laws. Now, that shit is really hard.”
He also joked, “If you Black and you wanna be accepted by your white in-laws, then you need to marry a Kardashian, because they accept everybody. Kris Jenner is like the Statue of Liberty.”
Chris did note that he thinks Meghan “seems like a nice lady, just complaining.”
His Selective Outrage special is available on Netflix now.
