The ‘Bello!’ bench has been designed by Lars Beller Fjetland for Hydro as a versatile seating solution that’s ready for use either indoors or out to suit different needs. The bench is characterized by its sculpted form that’s accented with a ribbed texture to give it a touch of visual intrigue, which is inspired by penne rigate pasta for a tactile feeling against the skin. The bench is constructed out of recycled aluminum to give it an inherent sense of rigidity, while also making it lightweight and durable enough for daily use year-round.
The ‘Bello!’ bench is designed in several eye-catching colors that range from simple to chromatic and was described by Fjetland who said, “The subtle ridges add so much value – you just have to run your fingers across the surface. These tactile discoveries mean so much to me.”
