Fans of Boosie and T.I. will be saddened to hear that a joint album between the rappers, which has already been completed, will supposedly never see the light of day.
T.I. Previously Admitted To Pinning A Gun Case On His Late Cousin
Boosie spoke on the subject during a recent appearance on VladTV, and he said that it’s all related to a resurfaced video of T.I. making an eyebrow-raising admission.
During an August 2020 episode of his podcast, T.I. explained how he and his cousin caught a gun case back in the day. However, his cousin ultimately passed away during the trial, and T.I. says he got permission to pin the whole situation on his family member in order to get off scot-free.
T.I. specifically recalled his late cousin remarking, “If you could walk away free and put it on me, G*dd*mn right!”
The “Live Your Life” rapper also revealed that he had never told anyone about this situation (likely with good reason, considering Boosie’s reaction).
“Don’t nobody know about that, I just volunteered that. Don’t nobody know about that—I’m just being honest.”
However, T.I. also clarified, “That’s the only time I done ever said or gave no information ’bout nothing.”
He added, “That’s my cousin—my big cousin. He was dead.”
Boosie Says T.I.’s Admission ‘Ruined Everything’ Between Them
While T.I. made his commentary two-and-a-half years ago, Boosie is nonetheless displeased over the entire situation. He was specifically upset about the fact that the matter resurfaced while they have an album ready to be released.
“I don’t feel like he could’ve held that in all these years. You just basically come out and say some s**t like that?” Why the f**k he say that when we got a f**king album that’s gonna come out?”
At this point, Boosie declared that the album in question wouldn’t be released, as T.I.’s admission ultimately “ruined everything.”
You can check out the clips in question down below.
We should also add that, at another point during the sit-down, Boosie proclaimed that T.I. is “a f**king rat.”
Yung Joc Has A Different Perspective: ‘That Make Him A Problem Solver’
While Boosie is firmly anti-T.I. in this case, others like Yung Joc have spoken out in support of Tip.
Regarding his decision to put the gun case on his dead cousin, Joc says T.I. was “doing what anybody in their right mind would do.”
“That’s doing what anybody in their right mind would do. Unless you’re willing to trade your freedom for the integrity of a deceased loved one.”
He added, “It’s kind of one of them thangs…That don’t make him a snitch. That make him a problem solver.”
What do you think about Boosie’s response to T.I.’s admission? Also, do you think T.I. was right to let his deceased cousin take the fall for a crime he committed?
