Top Gear reports that alongside the SUV, there will be a sedan joining the lineup. These electric vehicles will showcase new designs and tech and are set to start production next year.

The news comes straight from BMW’s top executive, Oliver Zipse, who shared the details during a recent financial results conference call. He highlighted the upcoming Neue Klasse lineup, mentioning that it will kick off with an SUV and now, a sedan as well.
Oliver Zipse, explained:
“As the biggest single investment in the history of the company, the Neue Klasse shows how we are redefining the BMW brand for the future. “The Neue Klasse will start out with a Sports Activity Vehicle, and a sedan in the current 3 Series segment.”
