There continues to be encouraging news regarding the status of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
Per ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg and the NFL’s website, Hamlin was released from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center on Monday. The 24-year-old who went into cardiac arrest during last Monday’s primetime game at the Cincinnati Bengals is being transferred to a Buffalo-area hospital, where he will continue what’s been a remarkable recovery.
“I can confirm he is doing well and this is the beginning of the next stage of his recovery,” Dr. William Knight said of Hamlin on Monday afternoon.
