Beyoncé returned with a grand performance in Dubai on Saturday, marking her first concert in four years.
The 41-year-old musical icon was taking to the stage to celebrate the opening of new luxury hotel Atlantis The Royal, which managed to draw out a bevy of international stars.
Despite the high profile of the event, the hitmaker tried to tamp down on the publicity by banning recording and forcing attendees to lock up their phones ahead of the show.
Still, a few intrepid attendees managed to keep their cameras free and shared videos of Beyoncé belting out her hits, including Halo.

Celebrities who turned up for the star-studded show include Halle Bailey, Corey Stokes, Ellen Pompeo and husband, Chris Ivory and actress Patricia Contreras.
The concert is the Grammy winner’s first since the release of her Renaissance album in July.
She was reportedly paid $24 million for the performance at the luxury resort for the invitation only concert, according to TMZ.
Video surreptitiously shot during Friday’s soundcheck indicate the Dream Girls star will be belting out hits such as Naughty Girl, Halo, Spirit and Freedom.
Many fans are hoping the Dubai concert could be a launching point for an upcoming Renaissance tour.
Beyonce, reportedly confirmed she will be hitting the road in October at the fifth annual Wearable Art Gala, where an attendee snapped up a package for an upcoming show, consisting of two first class plane tickets and concert tickets to the city of their choice, as well as three nights at a Marriott property, according to Hot New Hip Hop.
