The chair maintains a simple construction that’s accented by an accordion-style shroud that can be flipped up when needed to provide noise isolation and visual privacy thanks to its felt design. The chair is thus perfect for being flipped up when taking a call or intensely studying and flipped down when the person is open to talking.
The ‘Peacock Chair’ concept is the design work of Markus Melcher, Rob Shudra and Andrew Ferrier, and draws its aesthetic inspiration from the bird it shares a name with. This is thanks to its plumage-inspired privacy shade.
