Word just broke that Apollo Nida, the ex-husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks, recently got married!
Apollo and his bride, Sherein Almufti, tied the knot back on October 14, though they kept their marriage a secret until now, per TMZ.
It’s also noted that, while Apollo’s sons—Dylan and Ayden—and Phaedra knew about the ceremony, they ultimately decided to not attend.

The Couple Hit Things Off While Apollo Was Incarcerated
Apollo and Phaedra’s divorce was finalized in 2017. However, they initially filed to end their marriage before Apollo went to prison for fraud and identity theft in 2014.
While Apollo was incarcerated, Sherein was there for him to lean on. The pair ultimately got engaged during this time, and she addressed the matter during a season 9 episode of RHOA.
Once Kandi Burruss’ husband, Todd Tucker, asked about how Sherein and Apollo met, she coyly said, “We found love, let’s put it that way.”
However, Kenya referred to Sherein as “the side chick” in a shady confessional.
Later in the episode, though, Sherein was sure to add, “We’ve been actually friends for four years now.” Additionally, she acknowledged that she was essentially Apollo’s main supporter while he was in prison.
“Wifey wasn’t around, so I was there more than she was. I mean, he’s been away for two years. She’s only been there twice. I go often—it’s only 40 minutes away from me.”
What’s Next For Apollo Nida?
Now that Apollo’s officially a married man again, many may be wondering what the future has in store for him.
According to his Instagram bio, he describes himself as a “Reality [Producer], Fitness Mogul, Public Speaker, Celebrity Ambassador, Philanthropist, [and] Brand Endorser.”
As for RHOA, fans will recall that Apollo, who’s often referred to as the “hottest househusband,” was briefly featured this past season through a series of cameos with Shereé Whitfield. He even modeled a She by Shereé jumpsuit at the long-awaited fashion show, which went down in the season finale. Notably, Sherein was there to cheer him on from the sidelines.
We also have to add that Kenya, who caught heat over her flirtatious interactions with Apollo during season 5, humorously acknowledged the moment by laughingly telling producers, “I’m leaving, goodbye!”
