You may not be watching many Denver Nuggets games these days, and if that’s the case, you’re missing out on some truly exceptional basketball from Nikola Jokic. The reigning back-to-back MVP might be playing the best overall basketball of his career, leading Denver to an 18-11 record, good for third in a hyper-crowded Western Conference. Jokic has been Wilt-like over his last stretch of games, including a historic 40-point, 27-rebound, 10-assist triple-double, which has only been done twice prior. There is still a lot of season left — and voters may also have Joker fatigue at this point — but as of right now, it seems reasonable to believe Jokic will join Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain and Larry Bird as the only players to win the MVP Trophy three seasons in a row.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. In the history of the NBA, only 35 players have recorded at least one season in which they averaged 25 or more points per game while also averaging 10 or more rebounds per game. How many of the 35 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
