Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. The two discussed the situation on the battlefield and efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s integrated air defense. They also condemned Russia’s continued attacks on Ukraine’s civilian energy infrastructure and spoke about solutions to improve resilience and energy security before the winter. Secretary Blinken echoed support for Ukraine’s commitment to reforms as it pursues its goal of greater Euro-Atlantic integration at the upcoming NATO summit.
