The partnership between the United States and the Kingdom of Denmark has thrived for more than two centuries and is rooted in shared democratic values and a common vision for global peace, stability, and prosperity. We look forward to deepening our partnership as we continue to strengthen our Alliance through NATO; ensure a safe, stable, and prosperous Arctic region; defend against authoritarian regimes and threats to democracy; support further growth in trade and investment between our nations; tackle the climate crisis and manage the green transition; collaborate on cutting-edge research; and reinforce our cultural ties.
I join you in celebrating this anniversary of the signing of the Danish Constitution and send best wishes for health and prosperity to the people of Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands.
